On May 30, the award ceremony of the 10th Huawei ICT Competition Guangdong Provincial Competition and the Guangdong Huawei ICT Academy Talent Development Forum took place at our university. The event, themed "Embarking on a New Journey with Artificial Intelligence, Integrating into the Industrial Ecosystem to Embrace the Future," was jointly organized by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, and Shenzhen Xunfang Technology Co., Ltd.
Distinguished guests in attendance included award-winning teacher and student representatives from over 20 universities in the province; guests from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunfang Technology Co., Ltd., and multiple ecosystem enterprises; as well as Fu Huanchang, Executive Vice President of Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, and He Minwei, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy. Together, they celebrated the moment of glory for young ICT students and explored innovative pathways for industry-education integration and talent cultivation in the digital economy.
It is worth noting that the Huawei ICT Competition is an annual ICT competition for universities worldwide. Since its inception in 2015, it has grown increasingly influential and has been included in the list of national competitions for university students in China.
